PUPPY 101 TRAINING
THE FOUNDATION OF CALM
Did you know? Puppies need structure, routine, dog socialization and play!
We offer both At-Home and Day Training options. Our puppy programs are for pups between 10 weeks and 6 months of age.
TRAINING IN YOUR HOME:
Initial Foundation Training-Step ONE
Pups (4 months and under) : Puppy Primer (This differs slightly from our regular Foundation Training to address puppy needs)
Rate: $140/hour (most visits last ~2 hours) + *Mileage from Antioch.
One Foundational/Framework Home Visit. This visit will help you set up the structure needed for your pup to understand the boundaries and rules of the home while establishing yourself as the kind, gentle, intentional leader that their mother was prior to you becoming their pack leader. You’ll be well on your way to having a calm pup you can take anywhere!
Follow Up sessions are available to begin obedience training; we also recommend joining our pack here for occasional daycare to keep your pup off leashed socialized!
*Distances longer than 1 hour from Antioch, add $25/hour, then $15 for each extra 15 minutes

Puppy Preschool
Puppy Preschool is a structured program including:
Play time with other puppies, Practicing social skills with other dogs and with humans. One and one work with a trainer; Following the Leader (human) Enrichment and Games that will build confidence.
Owners will get videos each day of what we’re working on, what they can do to practice and a tutorial at the end of the week with a trainer.

Puppy Elementary
Puppy Elementary is a structured program including:
Play time with other puppies, Practicing social skills with other dogs and with humans. One and one work with a trainer; Following the Leader (human) Obedience, Enrichment and Games that will build new skills, deepen their confidence and enhance the relationship with their owner.
Owners will get videos each day of what we’re working on, what they can do to practice and a tutorial at the end of the week with a trainer.

REQUIRED: Your pup must have completed at least 8-12 days of Puppy Preschool and/or Puppy Elementary to receive the foundation prior to doing The ECollar Academy.
The 8 Day program is the perfect solution for the dog owner that is looking for a Foundation and Introduction to E-Collar training Program that digs into the always needed Beginning Recall, a stress-free Heel and a calm relaxed Place command (Think OFF switch) without their dog doing the overnight option. These three commands are the foundation/framework of all obedience work done here at Doggieology101. They are the stepping stones that allow our clients to develop a deeper connection while incorporating a command structure with their dog.
The 16 Day option goes deeper into all the commands and gives your pup a greater understanding of this fabulous tool that begins the magic of off leash reliability! We specialize in low level communication-style ECollar Training. Our unique training approach honors their instincts and psychology through masterful leadership then teach obedience through a variety of tools/leashes/collars that further communicate what we want.
There will be a strong component of owner commitment to maintain and reinforce the lessons, structure and commands so the dog can retain what was learned and potentially expand his/her ecollar communication repertoire in the future.

***This program is for dogs that do not have any serious issues regarding resource guarding, aggression with other dogs, other animals or humans. If your dog is showing signs of these issues, they may fall outside the scope of the program and you should contact us to discuss before signing up.
