                                 Puppy Camp

Our unique stay and train experience is for puppies between 16 weeks and 6 months of age. Your puppy will spend 100% of their time in our training program, which includes heavy doses of structure, routine, socialization, and play.

Through staying here at our new Doggieology101 facility for 7-10 days  (suggested stay), your puppy will develop a new foundation and state-of-mind that will make it easy for you to continue the training. This will empower you to continue developing a new and incredible relationship with your dog as he/she grows up! Some clients that complete the Puppy Camp join us again later on for our two week E-collar Stay-n-Train to achieve more off-leash freedom with their dog!

In this program, your puppy will learn the following skills:
  • Walk politely with you On-Leash
  • Sit
  • Down
  • Place Command
  • Crate Training
  • Waiting for Food Waiting at Thresholds (Doors, Car, Crate, etc.)

Puppy Preschool

Especially for puppies 8-15 weeks of age

This program is designed especially for young pups that will give them an excellent foundation of the rules, boundaries and limitations of living with their human families. Pups will live here with us, generally for 7-10 days, although the time can be longer if needed, work sessions are kept very short because of very short attention spans.  Often times,  the "work" and teaching time is done through low level playtime. Play is very important for dogs so play is incorporated into every all of our programs.

*Clicker Training is utilized for pups 8-13 weeks but slowly weaned out during weeks 14 and 15. Food is only used as needed after this point for very reluctant pups.

Skills we work on:

  • Crate Training
  • Potty Training
  • Waiting for Food
  • Nip the Nipping
  • Learning to Follow (A lot of supervised on and off lead) *Imperative for a pup to start looking to you for guidance/following you; looking for you, etc.

*Extra supervision during play time and separation as needed from older/bigger dogs.
